Fuji Guide & Tip Release

The new guide and tip releases from Fuji Australia are now available.

The very subtle Gun Metal finish is replacing the Gun Smoke finish. There are stocks of both the new Gun Metal and the Gun Smoke available but eventually the Gun Smoke finish will be replaced.

The Gun Metal finish is available in the GMMNSG General Purpose Guides (8mm-40mm), GMLNSG Light Duty Guides (7mm-16mm) and GMLSG Running Guides (5mm-10mm).

They have also released the heavy framed HB boat and land-based game guides PHBSG (8mm-25mm) with matching tips PHGST (10/3.0 -12/7.0). These are finished in a polished stainless steel finish (chrome).
Those of us that have built using these guides know they are bomb proof.

DMC Metallic Thread

As a size D metallic I use a lot of it on large diameter rods such as surf rod builds for block colours and trimming.
It is also useful for weaving using size E as the wrapping background thread and in patterns around 50 threads deep. These colours also hold up very well in UV exposure and fade very little after many years of exposure. Shop Here

CUSTOM ROD THREAD ART - last of the original hardcover

This book has been the bible version for those of us into cross-wraps. If you have this book and Billy Vivona's "Decorative Wraps Book" you will need nothing else as your go to references for decorative thread art for your custom rods. We have found some of the last of the original hardcover release by Dale P Clemens. Included are threading, wrapping and weaving techniques and variations of over 100 thread art patterns. 221 pages.
